Kids Education

Exploring Legacy Homeschool, Worldschooling and Kids Education
Kids education

WE ARE GIVING OUR KIDS A WORLD-CLASS EDUCATION BY MAKING THE WORLD THEIR CLASSROOM.

We customize the education and learning plans for each child as they have different personalities and learning styles!

One of our complaints over the years, especially when thinking of our childhoods, is that kids are sent to school and put in a box without regard to what will activate a deeper thirst for learning and growing.

So, for one year, we explored UNSCHOOLING and SELF-DIRECTED learning in an attempt to really see how they learn best.

Now that we have a full understanding of who our children are outside of traditional education structures, we have created a harmonized system that works for us.

Jasmine - The Anderson Family

Jasmine

Jasmine, our eldest (15), is now a first-year high school student. She prefers a more self-directed approach, but her boundless imagination often goes off-subject, so her focus is something we keep in mind while crafting her education.
Kaylee - The Anderson Family

Kaylee

Kaylee, our middle child (13), is very organized and structured. She strives best with a straightforward process and doesn’t require much hand- holding. Her education is customized with more challenging tasks and situations that flex her intellect and competitive spirit.
Layton - The Anderson Family

Layton

Layton, our youngest (9), is all about art, creativity, and storytelling. His education plan includes more exploration across various topics and interests, as he is still young and discovering what excites him the most.

“THE AIM OF EDUCATION SHOULD BE TO TEACH US RATHER HOW TO THINK, THAN WHAT TO THINK – RATHER TO IMPROVE OUR MINDS, SO AS TO ENABLE US TO THINK FOR OURSELVES, THAN TO LOAD THE MEMORY WITH THE THOUGHTS OF OTHER MEN”

-James Beattie
